Ooit heb ik een lezing over het houden van bijen bijgewoond en vond dat toen erg boeiend. Begin 2017 heb ik de stoute schoenen aangetrokken en mij opgegeven voor een\u00a0beginnerscursus <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5h\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">bijenhouden<\/span><\/a>.<br \/>Misschien dat je bij een imker al snel het beeld hebt van een wat oudere man met een baard en een pijp, maar tegenwoordig is dat echt niet meer zo. Steeds meer jongeren houden zich bezig met deze nuttige hobby. In eerste instantie denken veel mensen dat het houden van bijen niet zo bewerkelijk is. Je plaatst ergens een <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5e\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">kast\u00a0<\/span><\/a>met een <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5c\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">bijenvolk<\/span><\/a> in je tuin en de bijen zorgen wel voor de <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5m\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">honing<\/span><\/a>. Maar niets is minder waar. Het is een hele klus om een <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5c\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">bijenvolk<\/span><\/a> in leven te houden, dit is dan ook het doel van de beginnerscursus <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5h\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">bijenhouden<\/span><\/a>. De <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P98P4L-5m\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">honing<\/span><\/a> is een prettige bijkomstigheid. Regelmatig moet de kast geopend worden ter controle (hebben de bijen voldoende voedsel, staat het bijenvolk op het punt om te gaan te zwermen, heeft het volk last van\u00a0varroamijt?).
